The seemingly eternally living King of Corfae is a figure of great controversy. Widely popular in Corfae, he is seen as the herald of an era of unprecedented prosperity in the realm. Abroad, however, he is seen as an eccentric at best and a threat at worst. Under the reign of King Shoti'nes Corfae has massively expanded, laying claim to far flung cities such as Eastwatch, Lavnek, and Swentmor that had previously been independent. Corfae has become an economic and military power unknown to the world in The P.F. Era.
Shoti'nes makes public appearances on national holidays in The Capital City of Sapra, but otherwise is scarcely seen in person. Instead his teachings, missives, and criers can be found in every city of Corfae with great abundance. The Knights of The Order of The Golden Dragon are also loyal to Shoti'nes, who is the official Head of The Church of Elas The Golden Dragon in Corfae, and will often make appearances to enact his will on the people.
Many speculate on his advanced age, particularly for a human: loyalists will often say that Elas has blessed him with unnaturally long life to lead the people, whereas detractors often suggest he is an Elven Lord in disguise using humanity's love of itself against the people of Corfae.
A prophet-king seen as holy salvation or cleansing fire, King Art Shoti'nes will not relinquish the throne anytime soon.
