History

At the start of the 15th century, the town of Priapurl was a free state proud of its independence. Although officially under the tribal rulers under the Mindulgulph Mercenary company which were originally a group of mercenary barbarians, the town was perhaps one of the greatest examples of monstrous races and humans coexisting peacefully. Although never confirmed, it is believed that raids of the Dragoncoast cities of Westgate Tezir and the dwarven city of Easting were from this town. However, the city under the ruler Vhorni Dhoda, joined with Cormyr in an attempt to expel the angel Moreal and his rising cult from the Dragon Coast. With this help and a marriage, the city became a heavy supplier and friend to the Kingdom of Cormyr originally helping to provide information on the Empire. However, with Vhorni growing older and into his 90's, made a deal with the empire to join as a vassal as long as his son and daughter would be granted the city of Easting so that they can gain experience outside of Priapurl and to further develop their skills. Although promised by Djedfre, the promise was one of the first things Alara granted when she became empress in exchange for his troops on the Battle of the Year of Black Blood.
