Black King's scepter

What is it?

If you look closely at the artwork of the Black King, you’ll see that he is always depicted holding some sort of a staff or a scepter. We do know that in these old days, both white and black kings would have these scepters. They served as a way of communication between the kings and the gods. You see, the fairies have their butterfly antennae to pick up the signal from Glitter God, but the kings were just ordinary mole people, so these scepters served to pick up the signal from Glitter God or Satan calling for consultation. Kinda like your phone gets a phone signal, but obviously, God’s signal would have to work in a way inaccessible to just any regular rando.

Because of this, the scepters were a symbol of power and kingship. Only the chosen ones could ever hold this important artifact and use it and it was to be protected from falling into the wrong hands at all times.

Black King’s scepter

Black King’s scepter, same as the White King’s, was passed down through many generations of kings. It was crafted by the moth fairies living in T@Ö#Ä3, and as Black King’s scepter, it served primarily for communication with Satan.

It was approximately 60 cm long, and made of obsidian and ice crystal. It’s important to note that the white king’s scepter was only 55 cm in length.

On top, there was a roce made of ice crystal - the signature flower of Mountains where his castle was located. Black King would always carry it with him, until the very end of his reign.

What happened next

Well here’s the thing - no one exactly knows what happened next. When both kings stepped down from their positions, White King’s scepter was taken by the Museum of Royal History located in Ä+*4~, where it is still on display today. But, no one knows what happened to the Black King’s scepter. No one really asked him about it back then, and it’s very possible that he just kinda - kept it. If he did, he certainly kept it as a secret, as none of his family members knew anything about, or brought it up. Unless they were in on the secret. If that’s the case, one of Black King’s descendants may still have it, and is still keeping it a secret.

Another likely option is that Black King took it with him to the other side when he died, and possibly even returned it to its true rightful owner - Satan himself.

Some accounts of the story of the war with the White King even say that the scepter was lost in that battle, while others say Black King tossed it off a cliff in anger and disappointment when he was forced to step down as a king.

Any of these are possible, but one thing is for sure - Black king’s scepter was lost and no one really knows where to begin searching for it. Maybe in time it will somehow miraculously turn up, but until then all we can do it guess what may have happened to it.
