Long ago, the Dragons ruled all. For more than five thousand years, the Unholy Nine ruled with an iron fist, led by their tyrant queen Soraveyla.   And then He came.   Erdon, hero of legend, liberator of worlds and voyager of the unknown, came upon Firma and overthrew the Dragons, hunting them to the ends of Firma and wiping them from it.   For his sacrifice, the people of this world allowed his followers and His Holy Church into their lives, forever reshaping the face of their planet.   The Holiest Church of Erdon now holds total dominion over the continent of Firma, each of Erdon's children races given a Great City and powerful magical gifts.   Within the mountains and crags of Moreida, the dwarves work tirelessly singing and smithing Erdon’s Praise.   Upon the fields of Basket, halflings grow food to feed the continent, supplemented by the fish caught by the Denizens.   Inhabiting the ancient Draconic ruins of Sotha, the Half-Elves live hand-in-hand with the other rejects of society.   Stalking the long halls of The Academy, Elfkind studies to constantly uncover arcane secrets, overseen by the ancient lich Arranis.     However, beneath the veneer of harmony and benevolence a darker shadow lingers; ancient machinations come to fruition, and those who once conquered and slaughtered their way to rule shall return.
