Tianna is extremely proud of No'lan, as she is of all her children. She constantly pushing him to be his best and reaches to bring him the best opportunities she can provide. She tries to walk the fine line between encouraging him to follow his dreams and pushing him to follow her own dreams for him, and while she usually succeeds the effort is exhausting. Still, she wouldn't have it any other way.

As is frequent with the young, No'lan's main interest in his doting Aunt Nai'a revolves around the frequent gifts and treats she slips to him during her visits. For her part, Nai'a assumes he will eventually grow to appreciate her more for her supportive and cheerful encouragement of his endeavors, and continues to enjoy his excitement at her gifts in the meantime.

No'lan doesn't mind his newborn sister, but doesn't understand the big deal about her either. She can't run or play with him, and everyone keeps telling him about how little and fragile he is when he tries to include her.
