Gianna is A'drol's firstborn, and as such she retains a special place in his heart. He is the first to admit that he doesn't always understand little girls, but he is always the first to jump in and encourage her to follow her dreams.

As A'drol's oldest child, Gianna instantly won Nai'a's heart from the moment she was born. Quite comfortable in the role of doting aunt, Nai'a is constantly sneaking treats and gifts to her neices and nephew, but Gianna in particular.

Gianna adores her newborn sister Mia'ra, and the feeling is most definitely mutual. Mia'ra showers her sister with smiles, grins, and giggles. Gianna soaks up her sister's love, returning the favor with cuddles, attention, and Anemancy magic tricks.

Despite their official relationship of aunt and niece, Lyrianne and Gianna treat each other more like sisters due to the mere three years difference in age. Growing up the two were largely inseparable until the birth of Gianna's brother No'lan. Lyrianne adores her niece and admires her dedication to her studies, a trait which Lyrianne herself still struggles to emulate.

Gianna adores No'lan and has doted on him since he was born, to the point her mother Tianna Skyroot teases that her daughter is attempting to replace her as No'lan's mother. As No'lan can be quite the handful, this assistance is most appreciated, especially since No'lan frequently views his older sister as a co-conspirator and confidant in many of his wilder endeavors.

Tianna places a great deal of trust and expectations on the shoulders of her oldest daughter, but Gianna has always risen to the task to exceed even those expectations. Gianna views her mother's attention as a vote of confidence in her abilities rather than a burden, a view Tianna does her best to encourage with kindness and compassion, and the two share a close and loving relationship as a result.

As the oldest grandchild, Gianna holds a special place in her grandmother's heart. Gianna returns the affection, eagerly showing off her schooling, particularly her Anemancy lessons, at every opportunity.

Gianna's grandfather eagerly brags to his friends about her accomplishments in her schooling and in family life, particularly her Anemancy and her cooking skills. He believes she could become a renowned Chef if she wanted, although he is quick to add that she will do well in any profession she chooses as long as she is passionate about her work. Gianna enjoys his encouragements and approval, eagerly sharing her thoughts and dreams with him on the rare occasions the two have time alone together, seeking his opinions and suggestions.
