Speaking with the Fair Folk

"You stumble upon an old leather satchel, inside is small notebook. The paper is foxed from age and there is a title on the front page that reads 'Interactions with the Fair Folk'"   The book is filled with notes, it is indexed at the front with new additions to it added in different colours of ink and width of line, it seems this book has been made up over a long period of time.   The first line of the book reads "It is time to write down what I have learned - the mistakes i have made so others do not fall into the same trouble that my friends and I once did" It is signed with the initials E.W   Fair Folk;   1 ... it is important to remember when speaking to the fair folk that you do not give them your true name, your name has power, if they know your name they will be able to trick you more easily and you may become trapped in the feywilds forever...   2 ... Never accept a gift from the fair folk, this is not a gift, it is an exchange. If you accept a gift from them you now owe them, they will ask something of you, it may not be now it may not be tomorrow but they will ask and if you do not pay them back be warned.    3 ... Do not eat or drink anything made by the fair folk. Their food will taste like nothing you have ever eaten before, it is so delicious that eating anything else will taste  so rotten you will not eat it again. ...   4 ... Do not enter a fairy circle, what will feel like one hour of dancing with the fair folk will be in fact years, as soon as you step outside you will have aged as time passed around you ...   5 ... Be polite, you will have to turn down a lot of gifts, drinks and food. You do not wish to be ill mannered, flattery usually works well, however and this is most important do not thank a fair folk, a 'thank you' would mean you owe them something, as if you had accepted a gift.   6 ... If you offer them gifts, ensure they are of the highest quality, they do not like cheap things. It is best to avoid gifting the fair folk with anything ...

Contentwise I like this article a lot. It sets a good tone of how the fair folk is difficult to interact with. I would suggest using some structure to visually make the article nicer to read. Highlight the actual contents of the document, for example, by either setting a header above it with the h1/h2/h3 tags or use the quote tag to make it stand out more. I invite you to experiment and If you have questions, feel free to ask =) You can also use BBCode to make an automatically numbered list, which will take care of the formatting for you.   I am looking forward to how you will be developing this world!
