Genetics and Reproduction
Wingscales don't guard their eggs after spawning. They lay their eggs in the sandy bottom of the gulf. Male fish follow the females around to fertilize the eggs after they're laid. There are no known courtship rituals.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
These fish are a popular food item everywhere except Thauland, the only country that doesn't touch the Isotim Gulf. The flesh of thi fish ranges from pinkish to dark red and the scales are sometimes used as artistic embellishments.
