Feralia

The Ferali people value ethics and are known for sculpture. Largely the most popular form of entertainment is music. Merchants are respected as a profession. Public displays of affection are frowned on.

Overal, the Ferali don't have a strong military. What strength they do have is primarily focused on naval pursuits. Their main units are large, armored ships. Soldiers are a mix of draftees and volunteers. They serve primarily for defense but also to explore. Ranks are earned through aptitude tests.

Geography

Feralia is made up of mostly water. Islands are common. The primary landmass is stretched out and mostly comprised of plains. Mountains are uncommon. Deserts are rare.

Forests were once more common but as wood is a common building material, many forests were cut down. Those left standing are carefully tended.

There are many small rivers and streams, but not all towns have access to them. Many places have wells dug in the town square where the underground water table is highest.

Many places are prone to hurricanes and tropical storms.

For the most part, the climate is fairly mild. It only gets really cold in the south and the far north.
