Long ago, the Goddess of creation bestowed life upon the world. She created the first civilization, the manaketes and ordered them to shape the continent to welcome future creations.   Years passed and when the world was ready, humans were created. Though they co-existed with the manaketes, peace would not last, as their differences were far too great for them to share view points on the world.   The tough skin of the manaketes and their seniority, lead them to treat humans like fragile children who needed protection. They unwittingly stripped humans from their freedom and conflict arised between the two races.   A War broke out between humans and manaketes causing the stress of the Goddess of creation to take shape into nefarious monsters.   Ashamed, Humanity's 4 great champions gave their word to mantain peace with the manaketes to prevent further darkness to befall on the continent.   The manaketes learned to transform from their dragon form into that of a humanoid and decided to coexist with these champions, to ensure humanity would keep their promise across the generations.   Today, the continent is divided in 4 great nations.   The ever expanding grasslands of Kenbuki, ruled by the phoenix princess of spades.   The snowy mountains of Zezlo, ruled by the reincarnating King of Clubs.   The perpetual kingdom of darkness Coeursang, ruled by the Immortal Queen of Hearts.   The desertic beaches of Orykto, ruled by the Prince and Princess of diamonds.   All of which aim for prosperity while also dealing with the constant surfacing of monster creatures.
