Felmeridor

Welcome to Solunaria, a strange and lonely planet, where two moons and a sun orbit. Felmeridor, a temperate country of mountain ranges, coastal cliffs and large forests lies in the southern hemisphere and is home to many. Sixteen years since the king was over thrown by his most trusted advisor, the country is in a strange balance of order and chaos.   The Blitas family have taken up the role of the countries leader. Though not calling themselves monarchs, or being democratically elected, their far reaching and monopolised trade company have placed them in a strong position of power. Fernt Blitas, who betrayed the king all those years ago, is at the helm. For the most part he leaves towns and cities to govern themselves, only stepping in when requested by desperate leaders.   The city of Sequi and the centaurs who live in it are the next most powerful faction in the land. They are intelligent and well trusted by most of Felmeridors people. They played quite a large role in the rebellion against the king, leaving them in a strong alliance with the Blitas family. They use their intelligence for profit and enjoy the servitude of the unlucky Apelings, who live high above the centaurs at the very top of trees.   Orcs prefer to stay out of national business, this sea fairing race prefer the company of each other and the ocean. Some believe orcs steal children and sacrifice them to their strange whale gods.   Dwarves, goblins and kobolds are generally found in the mountain ranges, though never together. Humans and halflings are found all over the land, except Orc strongholds and definitely not in the Dwarven city of Isen. The halfling capital of Elfrin and the human capital of Atheton hold the next most power in the realm, though dwarves would beg to differ. Elves and other races live sporadically through the country but the general populace do not trust these outsiders.
