Perhaps war is not such a great thing after all. I have witnessed the death of my kith and kin, and I can only wish that our kingdom be secured from the chaos of the outer world. But my people...we cannot stand idle while the outside world is laid to ruin! We are the oathsworn wanderers, and as your king, I declare that our war will be the noblest quest in the known world!

Delling Ironfaith is the king of the lead clan of the oathsworn wanderers. He has proven his worth outside and inside war. He has restored the dwarrow country to a state of contentment, past the point of extinction. The darkness of the past may never dissappear, but the morning light seems to be returning with King Delling Ironfaith.

History

Trained as a military leader, Delling soon learned what war really was. When he was a young warrior, he fought for King Thorolf during the Second Goblyn War as his best general. The war was long and hard, but when their reinforcements from County Leer were forced back to their homeland, the war seemed hopeless. King Thorolf left with his best warriors to stop the goblyns, but Delling was left in Thorhelm to guard it with the remaining soldiers.
When King Thorolf went missing, the dwarves sured up for the last battle. The goblyns swarmed over the hills, but before the goblyns could cross the wall, the Leerans returned with a great army. Delling led the charge out from the gates of Thorhelm, fighting against the goblyn horde with the Leerans like they did in the past.
The goblins were pushed back, but the war had taken more than it had given. Delling was crowned king, and he led his people for almost 50 years before war broke out in his lands again. Thus the War Beneath the Mountains was started, a great conflict against the kobolds and their Ratking Bubonicus. The war raged for a short couple of years before Delling ended it abruptly by slaying the Ratking.
Recently, it has been rumored that one of the dwarrow relics known as silver oaths has been located across the mountains in the Ironwood Forest. If this is true, one may assume another warpath is to be started.
