Summary of the Conflict

When the first Catharxis, the End of the World came about, the cat deity Felialma and the dog deity Canispirito fought over the region that is now the Tolona Peninsula. Their fight ended with them both being put into a deep sleep and their bodies turned into the Tolona Wall that separates modern-day West and East Tolona. West Tolona represents the old domain of Felialma, while East Tolona is the land that belonged to Canispirito.
Godlings’s blessings have been asleep for over 2000 years. The world managed to carry on without their old deities (sort of. Religions changed to accommodate their new post-Catharxis reality).
Then, a strange phenomenon happened in the small neighbourhood of Oviexo - in the space of just a few years, the place saw the birth of twins, triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets and sextuplets. Since humans rarely ever have even twins (and some cultures consider those a sign of bad luck because of that), this became world-wide news.
After the birth of her sextuplets, Nay Tur Wild created a drill that could perforate the Tolona Wall in a way no other technology has ever been able to. Nay Tur managed to create The Drill to End All Drills because she was one of the re-incarnated Godlings, and giving birth to the sextuplets somehow awakened her old blessing of engineering.
Once the drilling starts, other Godlings blessed by Felialma begin to awaken their powers; namely, the 7 generals who were Felialma’s strongest soldiers at the last Catharxis. Unfortunately, nowadays they are mostly teenagers: twins Ugo and Umberto Gatti (17 years old), Agnes Alva (15 years old), Eugenia Kraut (15 years old), Harley O’Hare (15 years old), and the twin’s younger sister Teodora Gatti (13 years old). The seventh general is now a man called Sigmund Scheizer, a horrible, evil person who is a member of the The Dragons of Tolona criminal organisation (like Nay Tur).
Once the seven generals awake, the prophecy made by Canispirito before their demise comes true, and their Godlings (also called Berserkers due to their ability to turn into half-dog monsters) start to awaken too.
Thanks to that, Canispirito has recovered enough strength to be fully awakened once the full moon shines over their petrified body. The first thing Canispirito and their monster Godlings will due when this happens is destroy West Tolona and Feliama’s Godlings.
Among the Godlings from Canispirito are Harry Hairy, Nay Tur’s husband, and one of the sextuplets, Bertram. When they realise they are Berserkers and what it means for the future of West Tolona, they do their best to resist Canispirito’s influence over them, and join Felialma’s generals in the new Catharxis.
