Dratheknight Plate Armor
Dratheknight Plate Armor is a black, jagged variant of common knight-used plate armor. It is constructed by an enchanter and used by Dratheknights, the defenders of Southrend. The armor grants the user magical resistances to illnesses caused by the cold, and allows the user to endure cold-related magic as well, such as a blast from a silver dragon.
Manufacturing process
The obsidian shards must be blessed beneath the name of Arshire, then crushed into a fine powder. That blessed powder must then line the casting of the armor. Be sure to keep a little to dust over the finished armor. Then, melt the parvallium ingots and fill the casting, leaving the center cast untouched. Melt a sliver of aetherock, and fill the center. Lift the cast, and position it above an enchanters table. Speak a prayer to an ice god (preferably Arshire), then lower the now cooled armor. Spread the remaining obsidian dust over the armor, then tailor and engrave the armor as you wish.
Significance
The armor marks the wearer as a Dratheknight, an order of people highly respected in Southrendic cities.
