Aetherstave: This unit gains +2 to casting rolls if it chooses the Lore of Storm.
Aetherwand: This unit may re-roll one dice when making a casting attempt for a spell as long as it then chooses to cast a spell from the Lore of Storm.
Dispeller: If an enemy model successfully casts a spell while within 18" of a unit with this rule, then you may make a casting roll. If this roll is higher than the enemy's roll then the spell is not cast. This unit may gain a benefit from any equipment they have to this casting roll as if you were attempting to cast the same spell.
Shield: Models equipped with a shield may re-roll saves of 1.
-Heavy Shield: Models equipped with a heavy shield may re-roll all failed saves.
-Arcane Shield: Models equipped with an arcane shield may roll a dice each time they suffer a mortal wound. On a 4+ that mortal wound is ignored. An arcane shield also counts as a Shield.
Spotter animal: This model may ignore the effects of Stealth, and is considered to have line of sight to any models within 12".  

Special Rules


Chosen of the Warleader: As long as there is a friendly Hero are still on the battlefield, this unit and any units within 3" may re-roll failed hit rolls.
Cleaving Blow: This model may suffer -1 attack to gain +2 Rend on any melee weapon it attacks with during the combat phase. If any model in a unit does this then all of them must. Note that models with only 1 attack may not do this.
Dragonspawn: In the shooting phase, instead of attacking with their Throwing Axes, this unit may attack with their Dragonspawn. To do so, select an enemy unit within 9" in the same manner as if selecting the target of a shooting attack. For each model in this unit, roll two dice. For each result of a 4+ the enemy unit suffers a Mortal Wound. If the enemy unit lost any wounds as a result of this attack it is considered to have been hit by a weapon with the Inferno special rule.
Flurry of Blows: For each hit roll of a 6 or more, this model may make an extra attack with the same weapon. This attack can result in more attacks through this rule.
Inferno: When a unit is hit by a weapon with this trait, and at the beginning of that unit's owner's turn, roll a d6. On a 1, nothing happens. On a 2-5 that unit suffers d3 mortal wounds. On a 6, this effect ends.
Inspirational: Whilst a model with this rule is on the battlefield, any friendly unit may re-roll any failed bravery tests.
Large Fighter: This unit may ignore the effects of Large weapon.
Large Weapon: A unit may not benefit from a Shield of any type whist it is equipped with a large weapon.
Light Weapon: A model equipped with two light weapons may double their attacks when attacking with one.
Magic Adept: This unit may attempt to cast spells as described in the Magic Rules.
Magic Initiate: This unit may attempt to cast spells as described in the Magic Rules.
Storm of Axes: When this unit attacks with it's Throwing Axes it may triple the number of attacks it makes. If it does, it may not charge this turn.
Voice of the Fleet: This model, and all friendly units within 3" of this model may re-roll all failed hit rolls.
Warhorn: At the start of each of your turns, you may change your choice from this army's ability.
Warlord: This unit must be your General. Your army may only ever include a single Warlord.  

Army Abilities

An Odyr Raiding Parties army has access to the following Army Ability, and may select one of the traits from each table. The trait selected from the Major Table affects all friendly Odyr Raiding Parties units, whilst the trait selected from the Minor Table only affects your General.  

Odyr Raiding Parties Army Ability

At the start of the game you may pick one choice from the following list. This choice applies to every unit with this ability. If an ability allows you to change your choice, then any previous choice immediately has no effect for the rest of the game, unless it is chosen again.
 
 
Song of the Bear: Each time a model with this ability looses a wound, you may roll a dice. On a result of a 6+ that wound is not lost.
 
Song of the Berserker: Each model with this ability may not make save rolls, and may add 2 to it's attacks characteristic.
 
Song of the Bull: If a unit with this ability has charged this turn, then any melee attacks it makes gain +1 to wound rolls. This is a Charge Bonus.
 
Song of the Deathmartch: Each time a model with this ability is slain in the combat phase, it may make it's attacks against the unit that caused it to be killed before it is removed from the battlefield.
 
Song of Spite: Each time a model with this ability makes a successful save roll of 6 during the combat phase, roll a dice. If the result is 4+ then the attacking model suffers a mortal wound.

 

Odyr Major Traits: Binding Trait

Berserker's RageWhile the Song of the Berserker is active, all friendly models gain +1 attack.
Bull's StrengthWhile the Song of the Bull is active, if a unit with this ability has charged this turn it gains +1 strength. This is a Charge Bonus.
Death's GripWhile the Song of the Deatchmartch is active, if a model is slain in the combat phase before it has attacked, it gains +2 attacks.
Spite's ResistanceWhile the Song of Spite is active, all models gain +1 to their save rolls during the combat phase.

Odyr Minor Traits: Raidleader Wargear
