Aveskah
The Aveskah are small, hardy humanoids. Their main differences are the downy feathers that cover much of their bodies and their hands and feet. Their hands and feet are zygodactyl, with three talon-like finger facing forwards and two facing backwards. This gives an Aveskah an immensely strong grip.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Their mountain adaptations include a refined respiratory system, downy feathers/hair, zygodactyl hands and feet, and the existence of a functional nictating membrane. They also have moderately strong wings, and are capable of low-level flight.
Additional Information
Geographic Origin and Distribution
This human sub-species is only found in the Highlands, with some adventuresome individuals found throughout Andorei.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Enhanced sight, and the ability to see in low visibility conditions such as snowstorms. Their low-level flight and gliding also gives them a distinct advantage when falling from height, as they can merely glide to safety.
