Haeltheas / The Isle of the Wise / Ye Olde Druid Circle
For the time being, I'm going to conflate both the legendary peninsula that can't be found without the aid of the Druid Circle, the Druid Circle that controls it, and the village by which the characters have to approach the Circle. They're somewhat one and the same, yet will diverge once hit with actual plot and characters... once they aren't off all by their lonesome in a closed environment.
The Peninsula
Not quite an "isle" of the wise (though I don't know for sure that's what I'm calling it), the spit of land which supposedly contains relics of a time long past that would aid in the plot currently cannot be entered or even discovered (even if you sail the coastline, which I'm going to assume they've done, or sent someone to do by the time they get here) without first approaching the druidic village for what amounts to safe passage. The Druid Circle
This will be an organization page in the near future, for they will be both positive and negative influences on the characters once encountered. I'm not sure if different Circle members should feel differently, but as a whole they control access to the Peninsula being sought. And the Village, possibly named Haeltheas?
While I'm not positive I like the name yet, and will need to spend more time working on The Druidic Faith before I'm certain, I definitely know there is a village (perhaps a hamlet, honestly) that has been mostly living hidden away with few who know they even exist. Not sure if the village is as magically protected as the Peninsula, but perhaps enough to turn away those not seeking it in good faith.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
