Kalhiem, illegally practicing necromancy, resurrects the frozen body of Sherry that he found on the side of a mountain.

Kalhiem begins practicing necromancy illegally. In attempting to find a body to practice on, he finds the frozen corpse of Sherry abandoned on the side of the mountain. She was a perfect subject, as the frigid temperatures of the mountain kept her body perfectly preserved.   He smuggled the body into his study and began his ritual. Amazingly the spell worked, making it the first successful necromancy summon of a human he had ever done. She didn't know English and had very few memories of her former life, making her quiet and stoic. Yet Kalhiem felt a sense of protectiveness for her and treated her as his equal.
