During the Dawn of the New Year festival, the capital is suddenly attacked by Vahit's forces.

They day was the Dawn of the New Year Festival. During this time the capital was filled with people celebrating. But fun times would be cut short as a mysterious cloaked figure. would cross the bridge and demand entry into the city. When the suspicious man was denied, a sea of black creatures formed behind him, and at his command, stormed the gates and broke down the door.   As the gates fell, a wave of demonic creatures poured into the city and began attacking the party goers. The royal guard was overwhelmed, as they had never fought anything like these creatures before. This allowed the army of creatures to easily advanced towards to palace district.
