Emperor of Huaxia

As the empire is a feudal state, there are several titles or ranks in which people inherit or earn. The highest title in the Empire of Huaxia is the Emperor of Huaxia. During the beginning of the empire, the emperor had the authority to rule all the states belonging to Huaxia, and claimed many authorities in religious, political, and as well as in military areas. As time pass by, civil wars become frequent among the states of the empire. This caused the downfall of the real power of the Emperor, as also the powers of the elites grew powerful. During the rest of the time of the empire, feudalism is a type of government where a weak monarchy (emperor) tries to control an area of land through agreements with wealthy landholders.

Qualifications

Becoming an emperor is a hereditary rule. The emperor tittle, when the time has come, must be passed to the successor, his son or his brothers. The empire must be handed down to the successor if only the emperor agrees and made his choice. There is no need for qualifications for hereditary. But if intruded by another person or state, if he is equivalent to the emperor, that is to say, if he murdered him, he will be claimed as the Emperor.

Requirements

In hereditary, the correct way is that the successor should be of age (17 years or older) and after receiving the decision from the emperor that he would hand him down the throne, the successor should prove to the people of the kingdom that he is worthy by showing his skills in various fighting areas, including weapons and hand-to-hand fights. Then, if he succeeds, the coronation should be held by the next Full moon day with the presence of the elites, relatives and the people.

Appointment

If the successor succeeds in his requirements to become Emperor, the coronation will and should be held by the next Full moon day with the presence of the elites, relatives and the people.

Duties

After the elites grew powerful, the emperor is the head of state but has no political powers. The role is largely ceremonial, and involves duties such as greeting foreign dignitaries and attending cultural and public events.

Responsibilities

During the feudal period, emperors were not as powerful as the Titans and did not have as much political involvement. This led emperors to spend a lot of their time, getting involved in religious ceremonies and other leisure activities including dancing, viewing beautiful gardens, watching sports games and other entertainment forms.

History

During the beginning of the empire, the emperor had the authority to rule all the states belonging to Huaxia, and claimed many authorities in religious, political, and as well as in military areas. As time pass by, civil wars become frequent among the states of the empire. This caused the downfall of the real power of the Emperor. The Emperor started to send armies of warriors called Knightfuries to fight the civil war for him, and when they returned he gave the title Titan o the leader of the army, so they would not take him over as Emperor. This began a new form of control in Huaxia, where the leaders of different armies controlled smaller pieces of land, rather than one emperor controlling everything. Feudal control began when wealthy landholders divided up the land into smaller areas and relied on peasants (serfs) to farm the land and be soldiers.
