World of Fallout: New World Blues

Map of the Northeast

A map of the Northest wastes. What was once the birthplace of America is now a crater-filled nightmare for most. Due to its cultural, economic, and political significance, as well as its dense and numerous population centers, the Northeast was struck harder than perhaps anywhere else on earth. As a result it is still struggling in every sense of the word, and what few small nations there are are little more than loose defense coalitions between settlements, or large city-states finally flexing their muscles. It is safe to assume that the east is roughly a century behind the west in terms of development, politically and socially.
