Fairytales Unraveled

A world made up of a series of fairytales interacting with each other. In this world made up of quaint little villages, dark forbidding woods, and both small and expansive kingdoms there are thousands of people with stories waiting to be told. Not to mention the strange amount of gentry running around getting turned into frogs, kidnapped and locked in towers, and being adopted by childless peasants. These stories all intersecting with each other are kept running and balanced by the witches that both cause and deus ex machina the protagonists through the stories.   Take Little Red Ridinghood. A story just about everyone knows about a sweet maiden on her through the deep dark woods to visit her grandmother. What id she was witch stopping in to have lunch with the high-priestess of her coven? If so what has the big bad wolf gotten himself into?
