Fahrenzeit

Fahrenzeit: a land once divided politically by wars and physically by the Band, an unpassable mountain range that ringed the world. Hemispheres were separated by the Band's steep climbs riddled with rolling boulders and peaks that scrape the sky and shear the clouds. If anything lives up there, no one has taken the time to see.   The East is home to the continent of Dranexin: the Cradle of Empires. Dranexin has seen the rise and fall of kingdoms and empires over millennia before consolidating itself into five nations: the Kingdom of Karndum, the Glatzenphaltz Empire, the Kelydon Republic, the Holy Empire of Sirajean, and the Confederate Holds of Arktris. Everything West of the Band was an unanswered mystery... until the Shock.   20 years ago, a great sundering shook up the world and defanged the great kingdoms of Dranexin. It was a time of chaos and mayhem with refugees and bandits scouring the continent in the search of something to call theirs; a home, riches, families and friends. The Kelydon Republic and the Confederate Holds of Arktris are the only nations to have survived the Shock, taking in survivors or putting down conquerors and pacifying bandits.   But in all of this devastation, a new opportunity arose: with the Shock came a Break in the Band. This Break would be found by Drootiger Poots, who would then establish a town Cutband 5 years after the Shock. This tiny town would grow to become a city: a crossroads between East and West. In the span of 15 years, Cutband would become a Republic in its own right, recognized by the once-powerful nations of Dranexin and act as a hub for adventurers traveling through the Break eventually to the West.
