Wrath of the Sun
The Wrath of the Sun is a faith based spell(or a faith for short), which is extremely powerful and is known to be one of the most powerful offensive spells of the light.
Incantation: Khathara, tera divines fyres! This incantation, which is an amalgamation of Old Alfanian and Holy Common, invokes the god Khathar himself, and brings down 'divine fire' itself. The scroll, which is neccesary for learning the power behind the words, is closely guarded secret among the Paladins Orders, as it was created a paladin, Grandmaster Ordilin, who used it with his dying breath.
Effect: Unlike most other spells of fire, which originate from the person itself, the Wrath of the Sun is brought down from the sky, perhaps due to invocation of the Khathar, the sun god. This potent flame of the sun rains upon the enemy, burning through shields and armour. Being of the most primal flame, from the source of light itself, it is extremely powerful, and was known to have burnt entire armies to scorch, and vanished woods and villages of the map itself. Yet, it is extremely wild, it being the nature of the sun flame, and can end up consuming the user, and their allies
Known Users: Few are known to use this spell due to it's demanding nature to control, and the amount of energy required to cast it. The Paladin Grandmasters are known to have used this spell, due to their martial nature and their devotion to the light, yet they use it sparingly, due to it's consuming nature. The Lightborne, Alvaren the Great also used an augmented version of this spell to destroy the armies of Daerea in the battle of Calver Fields, though he achieved this not through mortal means, but through his power as Lightborne.
A visual images of the Wrath of the Sun. The fire spell can burn for many miles and miles, but needs to be cast by a powerful enough person, lest the flame devour them as kindling.
