The Three Pawns and the Island of Ferver
The Pawns
The south pawn, Kilamie, is a haven for Pyromancy and practitioners of the The Goetic arts , who fled other nations where pyromancy and demonology are forbidden. The island often displays pillars of flame that reach to the stars. Numerous settlements are established inland, each belonging to a different order. The westernmost pawn, called Westwatch, used to be a military base of Estoya, due to the lack of enemies in the west, it was abandoned and numerous cults have taken the island for themselves. These cults hail from Estoya and Dis and are varied in custom and ritual. The final pawn, Orithi, is a rocky wasteland where worshipers of heathen ocean gods reside. It is said that these people fled from Ozlith in the exodus and that they continued North due to discrimination.A Land Unexplored
Few examples of life on the islands have been studied but numerous tales exist of winged snakes and large man eating eels. Many believe Ferver once suffered from the mania of Lartasia, which is why so many creatures common to Lartasia are found there. Each of the isles feature grasslands, forests, and Ferver has bodies of freshwater. Marble, granite, and other building materials are common there as are precious stones and silver. It isn't a secret why motion are made almost yearly to retake the islands, but the code of religious freedom prevents the king from doing so regardless of ethics.Ferver
Ferver is the larger island north of the pawns. It's a mysterious place with mysterious creatures and is considered the last frontier of Estoya. Few venture there due to the warring cults that seek to plunder the secrets of the island. Ruins litter the landscape and statues eons old are said to speak to those that cross their paths. The creatures of Ferver are colorful and bizarre, quite different from the mundane creatures of Estoya.
