Identifying Characteristics

Delicate silver softens furious gold accents of the white lion mask surrounded by layers of cupped iradescent purple-yellow petals.

To the people, they are identified as the White Lion with no gender, species, ethnicity, or other identifying features. Only higher ranked members and family know such information. This mask is used to identify the Masked Syndicate leader, who took over the Ebon Harbor by killing previous leaders, and intimating dragons especially.

The Masked Syndicate are wisps on other continents, silent observer in bickering courts, stain to Chandilly, and ever-present reality at Ebon Harbor. The syndicate has burrowed deep roots into Ebon Harbor allowing their shadows to spread through the other continents; forcing other criminal organizations to allying, or competing for survival.
White Lion's rule of Ebon Harbor changed laws and policies against the Chandilly Confederacy's treaty. These changes coupled with the hostile takeover of Ebon Harbor caused debate of it's status in the Confederacy and it is alienated from such.
When Fey beasts invaded Ebon River, the White Lion captured many a beast beside their masked puppets. It is rumored amoung the ranks, two such dangerous beasts are enslaved guards of White Lion.
Cleaning the Bay of ship fragments, missing cargo, other debris and general city sewage. It was funded after the syndicate's heir convinced the White Lion too.

Mannerisms

Their posture is alert and upright with one hand behind back, while the other is cupped, palm down against the stomach. The cupped hand is a debated gesture amoung the people. Wayfarers and other travelers have noted this gesture is common around the country of Knidos. The gesture is used to indicate one's approach-ability; palm-up: one can approach for guidance, or they are in need of help, while palm-down: should not approach as they are on guard, or handling business to not be disturbed.
