Derevo Arch

The Derevo Arch, or simply Arch, is a roughly semicircular arch standing vertically out of the ground near Derevo, a small suburban settlement near Exapolis.

Geography

On the Thane side of the Arch, the surrounding areas are lightly forested, temperate grasslands. The strange land on the other side is a dry, cracked red earth, riddled with trenches, as if it once held many rivers and streams.

Fauna & Flora

The arch is made of dead tree trunks, as if naturally grown in this manner. Small mammals and birds have been observed to nest in the bases of the arch, any life further up the wood structure is a matter of speculation.

Natural Resources

The Derevo Arch is a passage to another world, drastically different to Thane. It remains largely unexplored by the denizens of Exapolis out of fear, as other strange forces are present near the border, and interfere with the power of the Divine. The red-tinted soil through the Arch is rumoured to hide many secrets.
