Summer Camp Pledge
Guidelines
For this Summer Camp, I pledge to not overwork myself as to not burn out. I pledge that I will only write what I am interested and invested in, and not more than one hour per day. This way, I hope that my motivation to worldbuild will endure past Summer Camp, and I will finally be able to use WorldAnvil as a working tool for a mid- or long-form TTRPG campaign.Goals
With these guidelines in mind, these are some of the results I expect:- I want to obtain the copper badge or higher.
- I want to write at least one article each about...
- ...a villain.
- ...a magical item.
- ...a relevant location.
- I will neglect formatting whenever I notice that I spend too much time on it.
- I will straight-up ignore some prompts.
Community
The World Anvil community has shown itself supportive, communicative, and helpful in the past. But I've also noticed that interacting with the community, answering community questions about my world and showing genuine interest in theirs, can be very taxing on my mental resources. With no disrespect to the community, I would rather use my RPG-party as my social group for worldbuilding than the much larger World Anvil community. With that said, I will probably interact on the World Anvil Discord server to some extend. Just not daily, and not with every article I write. And I will not pressure myself to make my articles pretty or engaging for the sake of a WA-audience, and neither will I pressure myself to engage with other worlds when I don't feel like it.Remove these ads.
