Height:3ft tall at the shoulder, with a long neck about 2.5 ft
Weight: 85 lbs
Color varies from white, red, black to brown, and everywhere inbetween.
Much like a small deer-camel hybrid, they trample and stomp their hooves when agitated.
They are shaved once per year and yield up to 1d8 bundles of wool. Each wool bundle weighs .5 lbs and is worth 25 gp. Due to its strong yet silky soft threads, this wool is woven into the finest cold weather clothing for nobles and royalty across the land. Cold weather out fits woven from Aplaca wool often sell for up to 400gp.
Apaca wool cloaks or clothing grants advantage on Wisdom(survival) checks to survive in cold weather temperatures below freezing.

Ecology and Habitats

Originating from the Rifenmist Peninsula, the alpaca and its renowned wool are now traded and raised across Tal'Dorei.

Bred mainly for their highly prized wool, they have also been used as mounts for small races though thay make poor pack animals.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

They screech and squeak extremely loud when threatened or in danger. Their squeak-screech can be heard for upto 100 ft away.
