Since the uprising and the banishing of the evil god Osarin, his remaining worshipers gathered with the single goal of releasing their god from the domain he had been imprisoned in, and acting as his agent in the war against the gods. For years they have been working from the shadows, gathering more supporters and slowly weakening Osarin's chains. They are lead by a council whose member's identities aren't know to the rest of the organization. The council member are usually nobles and high rank military commanders who secretly work for the temple.
Their existence has never been proven, though many have encountered them in some way or another, even if by a different name. They are most known for the trail of destruction they leave behind them. Members of the temple of Osarin are considered to be the source of many myths and stories, and are known by many names, though not many know their true purpose. People have described them as tall figures wearing dark cloak, that spread fear and uneasiness around them. There are a few stories of scary cloaked figures entering a village or a town in search of some weird item. whenever they left, there was destruction behind them or less people than when they originally came. They are said to never visit villages more than once and always leave behind some sort of a token. There are suspected to be many more encounters with members of the temple that no one was left to tell.
In the high society, the temple of Osarin is more known, and there are rumors that they have a ritual that can reopen sealed portals. So far even the most educated wizards were not able to tell what sort of ritual it is by the components reported taken.
