Currency

There is no organized structure or law surrounding the proper use, allocation and minting of coins but among merchants, there is a standard that is followed: Gold, Silver and Copper.   Merchants and amateur mathematicians will enjoy the simplicity of the three-tiered system because it is standard to a decimal system. In most areas: one gold piece is equal to ten silver pieces and one silver piece measures to be ten copper pieces.   It should be noted that while this is standard and the preferred system, some areas deviate and have their own categories of wealth and conversion rates. Places like the Eastern Kingdoms of the Shattered Isle, for example, are always shifting and changing, thus the currency changes rapidly as well and since the landowners of the Isle wish nothing but to ruin each other, their currencies are also considered a weapon to be used. They are considered a massive pain to trade with by most merchant businesses and are avoided as a result.

Manufacturing process

The metals used in the coin are alloyed together and kept in a semi-solid form while they are pressed into a mould. THis process is referred to as 'minting'.
