Dunefolk
Origins
During the shrouded era, a group of nomads stumbled across a ragged landscape. This was in the area now known as Tallridge. Settling down in a location away from roaming predators, they began building their simple huts. As the years went by, their nomadic lifestyle didn't change. They lived of off hunting and fishing, and had rather limited technology. Overtime, however, the land started to change. A change beyond their control which threatened their utopia. As the climate slowly changed as a late consequence of the events prior to the shrouded era, the land started to transform to that of a desert. Trapped in their own safe spot, the dunefolk ancestors had no choice than to adapt.Lifestyle
The dunefolk has kept their nomadic lifestyle for as long as their local history reach. They have small camps which they use for shelter, but they rarely stay put for long. They have mastered hunting the monsters in the sanguine desert, and with a long tradition of hunting, are not as threatened by the roamers of the desert as their ancestors were. Thus, they are heavily sought after guards in the desert. They are not savage by nature, but can be quite overprotective of their own, as a result of strong bonds formed traveling the desert.Social & interracial interactions
Being a secluded tribe of people, the dunefolk are little familiar with common etiquette and culture. They have their own language, derived from old-kapiran, and are hard to trust others. They follow their own pantheon, but are understandable of others beliefs. They are known to stop by the The Sanguine Bazaar from time to time, but only to fill up on water reserves or check up on their equipment. They do not possess coin, but their unique and vibrant crafts are highly sought after, and used in bargains.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
