Hedric Mathew Silverbow (a.k.a. The Blackbird's pet)
Hedric Silverbow is a shorter man. He has a slight build; wiry, but well muscled.
Hedric Silverbow has pale skin dotted with freckles, and chestnut hair.
Hedric's face is angular, with very expressive eyes. He has a scar along one cheek. He has a small nose, and ears with the slightest point showing some small amount of elven blood

tattooed on the inside of his left wrist, and on his right shoulder.
Hedric SIlverbow strides instead of walking. His chin juts out just slightly. He has the overall bearing of someone with something to prove, something that he can never fully prove to himself.
He wears a well cut suit, topped with a bowler hat, and undercut by a pair of very well made, but practical boots.
Though he does not need it, Hedric Silverbow walks with a cane. This cane is in fact a sword stick, with which the young man is competent if not particularly skilled.
Hedric Silverbow was the 3rd of 5 children in his generation. He lived a life of privilege until the age of 13 when Silverbow
family tradition dictated he be granted a territory and a portion of the family business. From that point he was expected to compete with his siblings, or be cut out of his inheritance. When he was young, he was thought to be the least cunning of his siblings. His trusting nature was exploited, and his siblings managed to seize most of his holdings.
Everyone thought that Hedric's chances of success in the family had taken a mortal blow, including Hedric himself. It was around this time that Hedric met a young street boss named Theria Blackbird

did things differently than House Silverbow
. She ran her crew based on cooperation and loyalty. She attracted the best and brightest. Hedric couldn't help but be taken in by her charisma, and her straightforward directness. Eventually, the young Silverbow saw an opportunity he couldn't pass up. In one maneuver, he proved his family's dismissal of him to have been an error in judgement. Hedric was the architect of the fall of House Silverbow
. When The Blackbird
took control of the remains of House Silverbow
, she granted Hedric a good portion of his family's former holdings.
Hedric was given the best education until the age of 13. At that point, he was expected to learn from the streets. He continued his studies independently.
Hedric Silverbow worked in the family business from the age of 13 to the age of 16, at which point, he defected to The Blackbird
Hedric was the architect of the fall of House Silverbow. He also controls a large section of Opus'
underworld dispute his young age.
When he was first granted a part of House Silverbow's business, he quickly lost most of his holdings to his older brother and sister. He lost some more of his territory by trusting his younger half brother.
Hedric Silverbow wants to prove his family wrong about his lack of cunning, and resolve. He also wants to follow and support someone who he believes in.
Hedric Silverbow is amazing at games of strategy. He is phenomenal at deception, though he rarely lies. He is also great at commanding loyalty, and supporting those he is loyal to. He is terrible with outright lies, and he is very bad at trusting those close to him. He is also not a great fighter.
He truly hates unearned betrayal of trust, though he has attained a taste for revenge. He hates the racket of the city and the smell of poppies. He loves the theater, the feel of a warm hearth on a cold day, and cats.

Rarely gives more than a bashful smile. He turns his scar away from people when he's talking to them, breaking eye contact, and looking toward the floor.
Hedric still keeps a nobles standard of grooming, with well quaffed hair, and trimmed nails.
Family means little to Hedric Silverbow, and his family has little love for him.
He wholeheartedly believes the ancient stories and myths of The Scholars, and Ancillaries. He doesn't follow the teachings devoutly, but he does believe in the values of The Scholars.
Hedric Silvebow would likely seem very shy at first, but this is often broken by moments of extreme confidence. The earnestness of this seeming contradiction is often very unsettling, and unbalancing.
He often breaks eye-contact when speaking to someone. Other times he will look defiantly into ones eyes. He never speaks loudly, but his words have a certain weight to them.
Hedric Silverbow has become a student of games. He prefers those that require a firm grasp of strategic planning, believing that the skills acquired are applicable in real life. He also keeps a cat named butler.
Hedric has an upper class accent. He prefers to speak quietly, but his words have a certain weight to them. He is very direct in saying what he wants. He only speaks when he is sure of what to say, only when he goes silent can one be sure he has been put off balance.

Thedric Silverbow met The Blackbird when both were young. Her fierce loyalty was a very stark contrast to the brutal competition of his family. Eventually, Thedric executed an extremely debilitating betrayal of his family which allowed Theria to execute her takeover of most of their resources. Following this, Thedric joined the Black Eyes as one of The Blackbirds lieutenants.

Thedric betrayed his family for Theria. Theria gives Thedric a much better position and environment than his family ever might have offered.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Both are tied to eachother, and the continued success of the The Black Eyes.
Thedric is one of the few who knows about Theria's sister Nara, and her time in the orphanage. Theria let him in a very emotionally charged moment, but she is no longer sure about the wisdom of that decision. She is afraid he will let her secret slip, or use it against her. He hasn't yet.
Hedric Silverbow has little actual wealth, having been disinherited by his family. As one of her main lieutenants, he does have access to the wealth of Theria Blackbird
, but he rarely needs access to those funds.
