The Court of Mages Building

This building is both the meeting place and living quarters for the Court of Mages members in Thremil City.   Once per week the senators will meet and discuss issues of the country and discuss the best solutions to these issues. They will also discuss the passing of new laws and ways of enforcing these

History

The senate building was designed and constructed over 200 years ago by an inventor called Alistair Thornton. As the city was being built they knew that this blueprint would be a great place to house the Court of Mages and it would act as a retreat to all the nobles of the magocracy.     It was constructed within the year and the meeting chamber of the council was decorated and officially opened the following year. The first High councillor, Maurton Viland, chaired the first meeting where the Thremil Accords were offically written. That very document was written and signed on the White Desk, which is something that all visitors to the building are able to see as well as the original document signed by the first court. This document when put on display was encased in many wards, created by many mages, to avoid any unscrupulous act against the first laws.

Tourism

The Court building has an entire wing now cordoned off for the public to visit. In this section, visitors can see many artifacts from the last 200 years that hold significance to the buildings history. They can see things such as the white desk upon which the Thremil Accords and many other major documents were signed.   They can also see artifacts from notable previous Court members along with priceless peices donated by the families of the first Thremil City to show life before the blood plague.
