Evarus

Evarus is a custom-forged world and setting for a D&D5e campaign entitled "The Back Horizon" which will begin in Fall 2020.  

The World

    Evarus as a realm is mostly dominated by wild features. Very little of it has been truly tamed and the civilizations that have learned to live in harmony with it's nature rather than try to conquer it have flourished. Biomes vary widely and include vast frozen wilds that never fully thaw, unexplored jungles and rain-forests, fertile farmlands and plains, imposing mountain ranges, dense forests, and volcanic isles that tremble and churn spewing magma with the promise of a foundation for new lands and life to form. The ocean's tides ebb and flow under the direction of Evarus' double moons and they team with aquatic life.   Most races live in areas they have occupied for centuries or perhaps even longer. But they also venture forth into the world in search of commerce, exploration, expansion, and commerce. Dotted on the landscapes are various villages, towns, and cities, founded and maintained by clans, collectives, and empires. Although their attitude towards their neighbors vary, it is rare for skirmishes and arguments to escalate to war. Those few that do get that far generally last for less than 5 years before being quelled by treaties, truces, and agreements.     Life can be hard and short on Evarus or it can be luxurious and long and it all depends on where you are and which time your circumstances lead you there. But one overarching truth echoes when people speak of Evarus, it is full of adventures of all sorts for those daring enough and willing to venture forth to seek it out.
