Kosshe

Kosshe are a silicon-based species that developed on the airless, crystal world of Kosshe Prime while the rocky subspecies arose in the moons of that planet due to lack of crystal substrate for early Kosshe colonists to use for their reproduction. Kosshe are a genderless species who live in communal housing and have consequently developed an openness that extends to other species as both their planet and its moons are dotted with atmospheric domes to allow visitors to stay on world for longer periods of time. Despite being the most recent of the Eusebian races to achieve spaceflight, the Kosshe's friendliness, curiosity, and ability to survive in a vacuum make the silicon-based beings a welcome addition to any crew and essential members of the Eusebian Alliance.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Kosshe are faceless, humanoid figures made up of all varieties of stone and crystal (although composition of an individual Kosshe is usually homogenous). The stand about 7 feet tall and can weigh 400-500 lbs.

Genetics and Reproduction

Kosshe reproduce asexually at the end of their lives by secluded themselves in a cavern with an excess of minerals and passing on the dying glimmers of their consciousness to the surrounding minerals which results in 1-3 new Kosshe of the same type as their parent.

Kosshe live for 200-300 years and are considered adults from birth
