Arcanii University
Nestled in a large valley and surrounded by mountains, this is the main arcane university on Eulara and governing body of the Mages of Xithar. Each of the schools of magic is represented by its own Arcane Tower, and each tower is the seat of an Archmage who specializes entirely in that one narrow branch of magic. Thousands of aspiring students from all over the world apply for the Rite of Petition each year, and only those with the greatest potential are chosen. Nearly any magical service may be had here, as well as training in the arcane arts, from the Arcanum graduates who live in the many buildings that ring the Towers. The villages sprawled around the University are diverse, rich, brightly colored and may seem eccentric or wondrous to strangers - it is quite common to see fledgling mages showing off their magical talents on the streets.
Structure
Arcanii is overseen by the Council of Mages - a leadership council consisting of all 8 of Arcanii’s Archmages, one for each tower and branch of magic.
