Crysible vs. Slinden

Victor Crysible, a wealthy well known Duchess/Duke in Ambercrest, accused Hudam Slinden, a commoner, of stealing his family's heirloom, emerald quartz ring set into a golden crown. The Crysible Ring has been passed down for generations to the eldest child to use as either their or their partner's engagement ring. Victor being one year younger than his oldest sister, Kassandra, it was her right to have the ring. Victor coveted the ring and never wanted his sister to become married as it would default to him if she was unwed by 30. When Kassandra started spending more time with Hudam, with enchanting golden eyes, Victor knew he needed to come up with a plan to make this not work for them.

After Victor started to hear rubbings that Hudam was thinking of proposing he set in motion his three part plan. Victor has a few specialties, spreading information around as truth, not being seen, and the ability to steal. First Victor started a rumor about Kassandra that she constantly wear glamour in order not to show how ugly and scared she is. Second he started a rumor that Hudam is only thinking of marrying Kassandra was for her wealth and power. After the rumors started gaining steam he started to take things of Kassandra's when Hudam was around, planting seeds of doubt into Kassandra about Hudam. After three weeks he set forth his final phase. In a very public place Victor challenged Hudam, "You have stolen our family heirloom! I heard these rumors that you only were with Kassandra for the power and wealth, but I didn't believe it. NOW I have PROOF! I have challenged you to a duel!"
The dual was short, Victor being an expert swordsman up against Hudam with only basic training of swordsmanship, it ended in less than 30 seconds. Victor shouted, "Give me the ring! I know you have it!" Hudam utterly confused and humiliated by the entire event stuttered, "Victor, what are you talking about. I do not have the ring. One day soon, I hope to have it to ask for Kassandra's hand in marriage. What happened to the ring?" "No more talking Hudam! Hand me the ring Otherwise I will take it from you!" Victor quickly grabbed into Hudam's cloak and pulled out the Crysible Ring. "I knew it. I just knew it. How dare you." Victor walks off leaving Hudam stuttering open mouth on the ground.
One or more citizens of Ambercrest contacted The Ancestral Bond and asked how to resolve this as the Shields were the Crysible family. Seven Justices came to evoke judgement on the situation after listening to both parties and eye witnesses. The Justices cast judgement upon the case.

We the Ancestral Bond Justice declare Hudam Slinden innocent. Victor Crysible you will serve 360 days helping out in the Golden Fields. We want you to learn the true value of a hard days work and what it means to work for a living. And learn the true value of what you are given and to care for others. We are Ethrosians.

This was the first case that formalized the Ancestral Bond Justice and in which they provided judgement for. It also established the Royal Blood Law stating that royal families are unable to control who someone in their family marries and cannot force marriage to happen. The Crystal Judgement Hall was build on the ground where the Justice's came to cast judgement.
