Anatomy

Bipedal with a harden skin covered by scales and a special organ storing elemental energy for later use.

Biological Traits

Dragonborn are hardy powerful race with hardy scales and natural resistances to the elements according to their clan. They also have unique traits according to their clan which makes them even more powerful and they also have a special organ which contains elemental power which can be used to breath pure elemental power corresponding to their clan.

Genetics and Reproduction

Mating between Dragonborn can only happen between clan members of the same clan and the female will lay eggs.

Growth Rate & Stages

Young Dragonborn grow quickly. They walk hours after hatching, attain the size and development of a 10-year-old human child by the age of 3, and reach adulthood by 15. They live to be around 80-100

Additionally during the peak of summer and the dead of winter Dragonborn celebrate two holidays in reverence to two great Dragons who were as brothers and as the customs go created the months of Summer and Winter.

One great Taboo in dragonborn culture is to flay or skin a dragonborn scales or elemental sack .It is considered one of the cruelest and vile acts another can do to a dragonborn and is on of the few things that will bring down the wrath of both Chromatic and Metallic Dragonborn. Another great taboo is to mate with another Dragonborn not of your clan. It is considered perverted and a fruitless labor seeing as no child can be produced so is looked down at. Finally, to betray your Weyr and clan is considered a great shame to not only ones self but your Weyr as well and can be punished by exile or even death.

After the perils large numbers of Dragonborns and the last dragons came to the isle and settled all over the land.
