Morning Mercy was at one point a Somnolent Mercy ship, sent across the Wayhalls to provide medical services to planets who had no been able to set up proper infrastructure, or to support in cases of strife and disaster.
They were in route to a planet during the Melancholic Lacuna, the gates closed on them and they were stranded.
They eventually ran into other survivors, and provided crucial medical supplies to help cobble together a thriving society.
Morning Mercy is now a central element of the Junkberg Bermuda, serving as a hospital and medical marketplace that often carries the most experimental and powerful modifications.
When you venture to the Junkberg Bermuda, an amalgamation of mecha and orga tech greets you. Dozens of ships spanning so many banners fused together. One of the most memorable is the egg-shell white spire of the Morning Mercy. Its polished hull reflects the light of the Wayhall in mysterious and dazzling ways.
Stranded Hope
When the Lacuna hit, and the Wayhalls shut down, the Morning Mercy was left stranded within the winding corridors between worlds.
While all ships hold a supply and hydroponics, most on the ship knew that they could only last months or maybe a year with out a planet to stop by.
So they cruised through the corridors, looking for any survivors and pulling them aboard as needed. Even facing their own peril, they still held to their mission of helping those in need.
Mercy Integrated
It was three months into the journey when the Morning Mercy discovered a cobble of ships who had gathered together to provide resources to each other. The Morning Mercy weighed anchor with this group. Medical supplies were in hot demand, and the ships had enough supplies to help prolong their survival in the depths of the Wayhall.
