He'll crack a joke to break tension, or make fun of the big bad guy, or find some other way to make people laugh. He loves people, and will do everything in his power to make the world a better place, even if it's just doing little things here and there.

Being military for so long, even after retiring, Reid maintains a healthy fitness regimen and diet, and keeps his weight and muscle tone stable.
Identifying Characteristics
Has a black swirling tattoo spanning his left shoulder to shoulderblade, hiding an unnaturally-shaped birthmark that resembles the sigil of a certain devil.
Special abilities
While he started out as an Omega Blunt, Reid has since evolved to the other side of the spectrum thanks to a series of death rituals instigated by Ithamar Elenisia, and gained Holy and Fire arcana abilities, as well as minor enervation abilities. When he later awakens fully (under extreme physical stress) as an aasimar-tiefling hybrid, called a nephilim, he gains the ability to fly with wings, along with the power to heal.

Personal history
Reid was born Reid Blake Kloer to a lower class family in New Wales, along with a younger sister named Lauren Shara Faulkner. He grew up knowing poverty and drug-addicted, neglectful parents who often forgot to feed their children, and by the age of 11, took his sister and fled home. For a time, the pair lived on the streets, doing what they could to survive, but it wasn't long before they encountered authorities who then contacted Child Services.
They were moved to a new home, owned by a military couple. The new parents, Fernand and Maribella Faulkner, treated their adopted children with love, respect, and everything that any child deserves. A happy, healthy home, free of abuse and trauma. Reid latched onto Fernand, who was a military sniper, and grew increasingly interested in things like warfare and firearms. Fernand was happy enough to teach, but made sure Reid was well-educated in other topics, such as the arts, history, and math. He also tried to get him into music, but Reid had little interest in it, and preferred to play in sports instead growing up.
By the age of 18, he joined Argensara's army, and made a goal of getting into Ranger School. There, he thrived despite all difficulties, and overcame everything his instructors could throw at him. He was his team's main support, and their natural leader. Upon graduating, he pursued the skills necessary to become a sniper, his interest in his adoptive father's specialization only fueled by being part of the army.
For over a century he served, and towards the end of his career is when he met Sholto Varden Liam, the first male love of his life. Having only been interested in women up till then, his initial infatuation came as a shock to himself. For the next twenty years, he and Sholto were partnered on and off for various missions, and became steady friends.
It wasn't until the entire world was under threat that the two admitted their love for eachother.
One crisis followed another, and then, for several years, all settled. And then, Xarxus Sakjutarést came into their lives, having come to Terra through a rift from another world - Alluani.
So a new adventure has begun, one that has taken Reid and many others on a trip across worlds, fighting to stop a threat that would destroy Alluani.

Intellectual Characteristics
Reid has a keen mind, and while on the surface he can appear not to notice things, he is still a highly trained spy. Almost nothing slips past him. He's empathetic and understands people on a deep level, which is what allows him to communicate so easily, and even manipulate, should he desire, which is rare.
He has the mental fortitude to withstand extreme torture, which he has experienced more than once, and he cannot be broken. It happened once, under the power of the old Verith, but he has since recovered and is now completely immune to things like mind control and gaslighting.
As a sniper, he possesses excellent spatial awareness, and can calculate distance and how long any object might take to cover it with ease. Math comes easily to him, as does language, the latter of which makes him something of a polyglot.
Unfortunately, while he's not tone-deaf, he has no composition talent, and while he can learn to play instruments (his favorite being the piano) he has no skill at writing new pieces. Also, while he's an excellent speaker, he's a terrible singer. The famous rockstar Alberic Diamond once likened him to a dying rooster.

We can't count on others to do it, because there's no guarantee that they will."While Reid has occasionally been known to try and back out of doing too-difficult tasks or missions out of fear, in the end he can always be relied on to pull through, and support others. In his heart he knows what must be done, and he'll see his duty through to the end.

He's almost never clumsy with his words, and can find the right thing to say to make someone feel better about nearly anything. He genuinely cares about everyone around him, and it shows in his every word and action.

Loves playing videogames during free time. When he can't do that, he tries to brush up on local history, or trolls his husbands and friends.
During his time on Alluani, he aided a dire tiger, who decided to remain at his side long enough to become his animal companion. The massive tiger is named Zeno, and he's both friendly and ferocious.

Reid speaks casually but with care and respect to all. He tries to insert humor wherever he can, enjoying making people laugh, and only swears for effect. He can mimic any accent, thanks to his talents as a polyglot and skills as a spy, and sometimes likes to mock people using certain tones of voice if they've annoyed him too far. He's great at doing impressions, too.
