Etherios

A world created by the Great Goddess herself, Aetheria, that was split into two main planes, the Mortal Planes and the Celestial Planes.   The Celestial Planes is where Celestial beings and creatures reside like gods and dragons with a few exceptions like the deceased. It houses the main capital where all the powerful gods reside, along with the resting place of the dead.   The Mortal Planes meanwhile is where the humans, elves, etc. and all mortal creatures reside. It is divided into two realms, the Magical and Human Realm. Magic can only exist within the Magical Realm.   There are two main classifications in Etherios. Those are Celestial and Mortal. These two classifications are used to differentiate between the magic, creatures, etc. of the Mortal Planes and the magic, creatures, etc. of the Celestial Planes. Anything that falls under the Celestial classification are for or from gods whose magical properties can work outside the Magical Realm. For example: Celestial Magic can work outside the Magical Realm.   Anything that falls under the Mortal classification are either for, from, or ARE mortals. These are things that follow every natural rule in the Etherios world. For example: Mortal Magic can only work within the Magical Realm.
