The complex consists of four areas:
  1. The Flamnonia Academy Administration
  2. Study and training areas
  3. Living quarters
  4. The Flamnonia Hospital
Flamnonia Academy Administration
The academy administration consists of the operations and recruitment offices alongside multiple meeting rooms, a staff lounge, and a ceremony hall.
Study and Training Areas
The study and training areas consist of classrooms, a library with study rooms and zones, and indoor and outdoor training grounds.
Living Quarters
The living quarters consist of small apartments and dorm rooms, the Flamnonia Eatery, as well as stables for riding animals and enclosures for companions.

Entries

It has one big double-winged wood door recessed into the fort walls in the front of the complex. The door has a three-meter clearance and a smaller door embedded into it for out-of-opening hours.   The front gate is heavily guarded the whole day, preventing unwanted visitors from entering the academy.

Denizens

The academy is populated with short- and long-term residents. Staff and students living in the surrounding area aren't residents of the academy.
long-term residents
  • The academy staff, including trainers and instructors, nurses and medics, cooks, and several administrative officers.
  • Dragonknight apprentices and some graduated dragonknights.
short-term residents
  • Visitors of either patients or dragonknights.
  • Clients of missions.

Architecture

The whole complex is built in the brick gothic style. Materials predominantly used are, therefore, bricks and wood. The fort walls are solid brickwork without any internal paths. Some of the doors and windows are embellished with ornaments and stained glass.
Opening Hours
The gate is only opened during the hours between noon and sunset. In rare cases, it is also opened if the arrival of influential guests is expected.   The academy is accessible through a smaller door outside opening hours for residents of the academy.
