Crystal Blossom Lighthouse
The Crystal Blossom Lighthouse is a beacon assigned to the Crystal Blossom Trade Port. The beacon is kept burning by the lighthouse keepers that need to work in shifts due to the energy-draining nature of the used fire spell.
Purpose / Function
The lighthouse was built to lead incoming ships into the port. It is also used to determine the port's location from the mainland.
Design
The tower features two rooms, one at the bottom and one all up at the top, directly under the beacon. The rooms have a ceiling height of about four meters and aren't subdivided, occupying the whole space within the walls. A long spiraling staircase connects the rooms.
Contents & Furnishings
Both rooms are meant as lounge rooms for people who keep the beacon burning. The upper chamber is a sleeping quarter with several bunk beds and an upholstered armchair with a side table for the currently performing Lighthouse keeper. The ground floor room has a table with benches and a small kitchen area where the lighthouse keepers can socialize and eat if they don't want to go to the ports' eatery.
Architecture
It is a around 100 meters high bricked tower that features a beacon of soul fire. The foundation is built from field stones, while the rest is built from bricks. The colors of the bricks range from pale orange to a dark, almost brownish-red. The tower has an entry with an iron-mounted heavy wood door and multiple windows recessed into the wall.
