General World Setting

General

  • Etherial world had 6-10% more oxygen than Earth. (Earth had around 20%)
  • Has 1 sun and 1 moon
  • Population and technology level are similar like the medieval age.
  • Fire is way easier to light up. And people tend to use fire to do things. (Fire magic/tool is the most common in Etherial)
  •  

    Materials

  • Gunpower has low quality (Gun is ineffective but explosion is functional but hard to control)
  • There are special materials.
  • Metals will get rust much faster and easier, people will use non-rust materials instead or find a way to protect it.
  • eg. leather (most popular), cloth, non-rust materials, painting color on metals and more.    

    Life and Creatures

  • Humans are not the top of the food chain.
  • Every life on this planet has a larger size than Earth. (trees and plants included)
  • Plus, we'll be stronger, smarter, better reactions and some creatures don’t need to eat at all.
  • Body cells will have more activity, faster body recovery.
  • Because of that, there are so many animal species here.
  • Creatures has more chance to get cancer because increased cell activity
  • Some places are inhabitable, but some species have evolved to live there.

    Races

  • There is human, half-human, humanoid and feral races
  • Some races are not humanoid, but they have intelligence nearly as human.
  • Each of race has unique culture and difference advantages/disadvantages
  • Interaction between race are quiet conflicted due to their different point of view and cultures
  • Most of the land are unclaimed wilderness

    Currency

    -Every kingdom has their own currency and cannot be used overseas. -Some place don't use any currency, just direct item trade -But there is international currency : Gold coins Very high value for most place (keep in mind some place don't accept this)    

    Magic system

  • Medium magic system, magic is rare in this world
  • Magic is uses the specific energy called "Aether" (similar to mana point)
  • Aether magic has two types: Acquire (to do something to earn them) and Innate (born with it)
  • Aether is limited and requires calories, stamina, transmute or ritual
  • Natural Aether can be recover by resting
  • Too much aether usage causes aether poisoning. (Common Symptomps: fratigue, fast aging, headache and ect.)
  • everyone is not capable of single-handedly destroying entire cities on their own.
