Corianite (Koh rIahn ite)

Corianite  is a Nethyrial material found within the deepest reaches of the sunken continent. Similar in properties to Bindium, it is able to bind the spirits of the fallen within it, and burns with the fiery heat of the Nethyr itself. The material itself resembles and acts like stone, but when worked it acts like metal.

This material is commonly found within the lower regions of the Nethyr, such as the Crags of Hidden Shadows, the Hidden Dark, The Abyss, the Time-rend, and the Magma-Fields. It can also be rarely found in areas with plate activity in the lands of Eveynjar and Valoreum.

History & Usage

History

Corianite is commonly used by the Ulglaith, Tembroitae, Void-touched, and many other Nethyrial races have commonly used this material for arms and armor, as well as everyday items like pots and pans or cooking utensils. It is the Nethyr's equivalent to Iron, though admittedly much better.

Everyday use

It is commonly used in many of the same things as iron.
