Eternal Dawn

A world in which secrets are many.   A Mount of Doom stands in the center as its influence spreads out. Dragons to the north, Halflings to the south, Elves to the east, and the dark underneath. All feel the shadow of the Mage's Cliff.   Dragonborn, birthed by the snow, kill each other to grow strong for their Mother. For when the Mother calls, they march to war   Elves isolate themselves, forsaking the broken world. They huddle in their homes, hoping the bad will leave them alone   Halflings alone reach out, spreading with joyous abandon. They desperately force the dark away, smiling at the pain.   Drow and Duergar push against their walls, The fathers sin and sons reap. Only all together are strong with no divides. These two cannot join. They squabble, clinging tightly to their ideals in the face of the unknowable   Humans arrive in a land not yet grown old. They are a young race, kids sitting at the adults table.
