Snapdog

the Snapdog lives in packs ranging from 3 to 12. Snapdogs look like any normal breed of dog or wolf except for one main feature and that is that their head splits into four. (horizontal and vertical) entire head down to the neck spits like this which creates a very gruesome-looking face lined with circular rotating teeth. the brain which instead of located in the head is located in the neck reforming itself around muscles and tendons in the area and increasing the neck's skin to a rock hard level. This disease only affects dog-like creatures and all other creatures humans included are safe from the disease but if bit the pain coming from the bite area is so incredibly high most people will lose the ability to think and instead go into a petrified state. after a few minutes the person will recover.

Genetics and Reproduction

a snapdog is not born but rather infected when a snapdog bites a normal dog transferring some blood or other saliva the process takes hold increasing the body mass and strength while forcing the brain to relocate it is very painful for the dog and worst even that it takes a long time to transfer completely.

Ecology and Habitats

It can be found anywhere but due to avoiding humanoids it typically lives in large dense forests or in the caves.

Dietary Needs and Habits

It eats any kind of meat and working as a pack or by itself it'll takedown and then eat the meal there is no storing a meal for later or for others.

Domestication

This species cannot be domesticated they see us as food and there is no way to change that.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Some more uses are to capture these creatures and then release them in an enemy encampment wreaking havoc and chaos and temporarily petrifying enemies they make for great distractions although catching one much less multiple is quite a chore.

Average Intelligence

its intelligence is about normal for ordinary creatures except when it comes to fighting a dog they understand that if they wait to protect and feed it during the transformation they gain an ally.
