City of Eppon
The City of Eppon is the northernmost of the Free Cities of the Delta. This position give Eppon the burden of bearing the brunt of Imperial aggression. Because of their proximity, the people of Eppon have a curious perspective on relations with the Saisol_Awak Empire. There is a higher degree of cultural mixing between this city and the empire compared to any of the others, and as such many Imperial citizens whose paths lead them this far south may almost feel as thought they haven't left. But while the two regions are culturally similar, there is no topic as prone to stir up anger and aggression in otherwise pleasant residents of the city as the looming threat of war with the north.
The economy of Eppon is primarily agricultural. Wheat, barely, and a variety of produce is grown in the fields surrounding the city, and even within the city there are gardens set aside that serve as orchards. This production is supplemented by trade from the north, south, and east. Eppon is also the furthest north city along the river with natural woods, and until recently prospered from a lumber trade with the empire.
The City of Eppon also serves as the capital for the Demesne of Eppon

Government
The City of Eppon is run by the Lord-Arcanist Serten. However, because the boring mundanities of running a city are beneath an arcanist of his skill level, the day to day workings are delegated to the Council of Seven. The council consists of seven officials of pseudo-nobility representing the seven most powerful guilds in the city. The taxes, tariffs, and re2gulations are the result of compromise between these seven guilds.
