After humans and the awakened animals take too much food and the bounty that earth provides. It slowly decays and it enter acceleration phase the moment all of them discover magic.   Magic were used to enhance both human and awakened animals daily necessities. First it is only used for starting a fire, creating simple structure for shelter, and washing dirty clothing. Then it escalate to powering up continual light source around the town, constructing massive building to host move than 10 families, and providing water source through water fountain for the whole city.   This prolong usage of magic helped their well being. Then again, after hundreds of years, Earth starting to show a minor to major symptoms.   Water stops flowing, resources getting more and more scarce, magics are more unstable to use and control, and the magicules on the air is getting more thin. This cause concern and spread seed of doubt to both humans and awakened animals.
